The Basenji dog has it's origin in Africa, it was bred there as a huntng dog. What makes the Basenji Dog very special is that is a so called "barkless dog", it produces a yodel-like sound. The Basenji dog weighs 11 kilograms and haves a height of 16 inches. The little African dog has the following colors in their coat: red, black, tricolor black and a other color and brindle. These fast, small, elegant and short haired dogs looks very nice on our calendar!
